Federico Luger (FL GALLERY) is pleased to present the first solo show of Danilo Buccella (Liestal, Switzerland 1974). The show presents a series of recent works, painted in New York, where the artist lives at the moment. It consists in paitings on canvas, in which the artist investigates the figure of the exploratory. A metaphor of the artist’s life, in a moment of change related to his move from Italy to the United States. In this adventure Danilo survives and tries to defeat the phantoms of his past. The staging displays the accurate reproduction of the artist’s House/Studio chimney in New York and a line of paintings in sequence, representing natural and selvatic ambients, in order to create a series of windows that invites to think about the relation between staying at home and living adventures. An autobiographical show, rich with colors and crimes.
