From the 21st of October you can enjoy the international group exhibition “The Raft – Art is (not) Lonely in the second edition of the triennial international exhibition ‘raft’ center.
The raft. Art is (not) alone / The Raft. Art is (not) Lonely is about the craft and the art of ecstasy.
The artist Jan Fabre was asked earlier this year to be the curator for this new edition, a challenge he enters enthusiastically!
The raft is an exhibition and a conversation with Ostend, the seaside city with a history and a perfume. Spread over several locations in the Belgian seaside resort leaves the dramaturgy of the exhibition Mu.ZEE from thoroughly investigating the Raft of Medusa (1818) of Théodore Géricault and utopian raft of Jan Fabre Art is (not) alone (1986)
